After multiple rounds of screening, 15 exceptional teams earned their place in the national finals, where they presented solutions tackling real cybersecurity challenges.
This flagship initiative of the Uttarakhand Police, led by IG Dr Nilesh Anand Bharne, aims to empower the next generation with hands-on exposure to cyber awareness and defence. DBS Global University, under Vice-Chancellor Dr Sanjay Jasola, provided academic support, mentorship, and a platform where ideas could transform into practical solutions.
The grand finale was graced by DGP Shri Deepam Seth as the Chief Guest. In his address, he encouraged participants to keep pushing boundaries in the field of cyber safety. Mr Mohit Aggarwal, President, DBS Global University, also joined the event, applauding the creativity and discipline shown by the finalists.
The top three teams were awarded for their impactful cyber-defence projects that stood out for their innovation, feasibility, and social relevance. Their work reflected the spirit of Hackathon 3.0: using technology with purpose and addressing threats that matter to today’s digital world.
The event closed on a note of pride and promise, celebrating young talent and strengthening the collaboration between law enforcement, academia, and the tech community.
